Anyone here attempted to polish your shitter? I heard cape cod is quite good. Anyone able to confirm?

I'd also like to get some info on polishing up a plastic face. I have a retro Rolex that was a bit overzealously aged and the face is a bit too foggy.

I ordered some Cape Cod earlier this week and will be giving it a go. I'll post some before and after shots

There are some videos on YouTube that make it seem easy enough.

Toothpaste and a cloth works surprising well to polish up watches especially the cheapies. The

Polywatch is great for plastic.

Used it on a 70s watch to good effect

I have used the grey HF polishing compound stick along with a soft dremel polishing wheel and got pretty good results. Scotch tape to protect areas you don't want polished, green scotchbrite pads to brush areas. Toothpaste works okay, but I would recommend picking up a tube of Polywatch- if you use it right, the tube should last for years.

you can use any car polishing gel. quite easy
