I'd also like to get some info on polishing up a plastic face. I have a retro Rolex that was a bit overzealously aged and the face is a bit too foggy.

I have used the grey HF polishing compound stick along with a soft dremel polishing wheel and got pretty good results. Scotch tape to protect areas you don't want polished, green scotchbrite pads to brush areas. Toothpaste works okay, but I would recommend picking up a tube of Polywatch- if you use it right, the tube should last for years.

you can use any car polishing gel. quite easy
