Do watches from top tier factories (Noob, Clean, etc) hold their value?

I've been looking at some higher end reps with price points in the 500-1000 dollar range and have noticed the few times I've seen people selling their used ones, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in price.

Maybe I'm just trying to justify the purchase in my mind, but the idea of getting something decent to use for a year or two and recouping most of the cost when I grow tired of it seems appealing

Does anyone have input on this? Tia!

certain factories more than others, furthermore certain models from certain factories.

NOOB is no longer around, the owner was arrested. until clean came out with thier newer daytona a noob daytona was fetching a pretty penny even used.

i have been on the hunt for an omega ploprof, noob and VSF made these and are considered NWBIG but because they are no longer in production they are way more expensive than they were originally.

other models from current production hold value okay but, when a newer version comes out and is better, the older version value will drop some.
